Mali Sagai in Gujarat
Mali families whose current city is in Gujarat, with the app’s coverage concentrated in and around Ahmedabad.
Gujarat is the second state where Mali Sagai has enough members for city-level pages to mean anything. Coverage is narrower than in Rajasthan and sits mainly in the larger cities, which shapes what a search here looks like: a family will usually be looking across the state rather than within one town. The distinction between current city and native place does a lot of work in Gujarat. A profile’s city is where that person lives now, which for many members is not where their family is from, and the app keeps the two apart rather than collapsing them into one line. If your family cares about native place, that is a separate field on every profile and it is worth reading before deciding anything. Only Ahmedabad has its own page so far. Other cities in the state are searchable in the app, and will get a page when there is enough there to write one honestly.
