This policy covers the matchandwed.com website only — not the community matrimony services Match & Wed operates, which handle personal information and publish their own policies. It is short because this website does very little.
Scope
This policy applies to the website at matchandwed.com and to nothing else. Match & Wed's community matrimony services are separate products with their own accounts, their own data and their own privacy policies.
Mali Sagai is live today. The personal information a member gives to that service — a phone number, a photograph, family and profile details — is handled by that product under that product's privacy policy, which you are shown inside it. This policy does not govern any of it, and reading this website does not create an account on anything.
What this website collects about you
Nothing. Specifically, as of the date above, the website:
- sets no cookies of any kind, including no analytics or advertising cookies;
- runs no analytics, measures no conversions and loads no tracking script;
- loads no third-party fonts, embeds, widgets, maps or social buttons;
- has no account, no login and no user-submitted content;
- has no contact form and no other mechanism that would collect what you type;
- stores nothing in your browser — no local storage, no session storage, no service worker.
Every page here is a static file. There is no application server, no database and no profile of you being assembled anywhere. What this does not mean is that no computer anywhere sees your request: delivering a page is itself a request to a server. That is described below.
What the hosting provider processes
The site is served by a hosting provider, and, as with any website, that provider processes the technical information every web request necessarily contains: your IP address, the page requested, the time, your browser's user-agent string, and similar network-level detail. This is used to deliver the page, to keep the service available and to protect it from attack and abuse. It is handled under the hosting provider's own terms and retention schedule, and Match & Wed does not extract, analyse or combine it into any record about you.
Links to other websites
Some pages link to external resources — for example the national cybercrime portal on the safety page. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not extend to them.
Children
This website is not directed at children, and it collects no information from anyone reading it, children included. Eligibility to use a Match & Wed matrimony service is a matter for that service's own terms, not for this website.
Changes to this policy
This policy will change when the website does, and it covers only the website. It is deliberately not stretched to cover a matrimony product: a policy written for a set of static pages is not a policy for a service that holds photographs and phone numbers, and each community service therefore publishes its own rather than being folded into this one. If this website itself ever starts collecting anything — a contact form, an account, analytics of any kind — this page will be rewritten before that goes live, not afterwards.
