Mali Sagai in Udaipur
A smaller but more evenly balanced set of members than the western Rajasthan districts.
Udaipur is a smaller part of Mali Sagai than Jodhpur or Jalore, but it is more evenly balanced between men and women than most places on the platform, which is why it has a page at all. Balance matters more than raw size for a family starting a search: a large set that is almost entirely one side is less useful than a smaller one where both are present. Members here are spread between the city and the surrounding district, and as elsewhere in Rajasthan the family’s native place is recorded separately from where a person currently lives. If your family is from the Mewar side and you are searching from further away, that second field is the one to read.
